Information received from the Dominica Meteorological Service indicates that a tropical wave is currently affecting Dominica and that thunderstorm and shower activity are expected to continue for the remainder of today

There is a bulletin circulating on social media; it is entirely fake news. It is cut and paste and changes in dates for a bulletin which was put out for Hurricane Beryl a few weeks ago. The ODM is calling on the general public to disregard the fake bulletin,” Pascal advised

Meanwhile, Pascal said the ODM and the Met Office will continue to monitor an area of disturbed weather located midway between Africa and the Lesser Antilles.
