THE T&T Chamber yesterday called for a review of the role and functions of the Industrial Court as one aspect of what the organisation views as the “urgent need” to reform the country’s industrial relations environment in the wake of “the unfolding Petrotrin saga”.
In a statement yesterday, the country’s premier private sector organisation said the problems at Petrotrin are teaching T&T that it “cannot continue to treat industrial disputes in old ways that clearly does not benefit anyone”.
